I had both and they're the same, it's still transactional, you still pay one way or another for sex, even it's supposedly "genuine", it's just more extra steps - you still have to put money for dates, dinners, gifts, etc. you also pay with your time, mental energy, etc.; and you might find out later that it wasn't actually "genuine" at all - she was just using you, manipulating, lying, cheating behind your back, etc.; with escorts at least you know right from the start what's the deal...
