this is true. smoking weed however makes it harder for you to control your dreams. first and most important thing in learning lucid dream is to remember the dreams. cuz if u don't remember you never know if u had lucid dream or not in the first place.
start writing your dreams down as soon as you wake up.
the thing is when you wake up, in less than 5 minutes most of the things you remember will fade away automatically. this way u train your brain to keep remembering more, once you train your brain enough, you will already have lucid dream 3 times per week naturally without even learning techniques and shit.
