Then why do we associate some traits with other animals? Eyes-apex predators, thick necks-pit bull dogs, sharp teeth-canine, muscles-big apes. So for men do we just need to be as intimidating (eyes, muscles, neck) as possible? My point is..if we are human beings why are other animal traits still selected for in us?

Cuz we are subhumans*

I was also thinking about this yesterday

Because humans don’t have natural selection anymore, therefore our bad features have been forcefully passed on through centuries.

What do you mean we don’t have natural selection? Tought we do

Humans are also animals

Neanderthals probably reproduced with predators idk
Or hunter eyes are just environmental traits

You are dumb.

Lemme try to explain anyway.

Those animals are just known for having these traits because they have it in a more accentuated manner, many other animals can have the same trait. A trait doesn’t belong to an animal. Just because humans have some traits in common with other animals it doesn’t mean we have “animal traits”

For example, the sharp “canine teeth” you mentioned. Virtually every carnivore has canine teeth; tigers, snakes, crocodiles, etc. Just because there’s “Canine” in the name it doesn’t mean the trait is a “dog trait”. That’s just the name that people came up with.

Another example:
Bats have wings just like birds. Does it mean that bats have a “bird trait”? No. Wings aren’t exclusive to birds, birds just so happen to be the group most commonly associated with wings. That’s it.

Understand now?

Because we're all mammals so we share some traits

Ok so hunter eyes are related to cats so when we see someone with those eyes we think predator?

Your saying a Neanderthal fucked a tiger?

No, hunter eyes are not related to cats.

Hunter eyes are just deep set eyes with positive canthal tilt. It is a sign of high testosterone so when we see it we think of dominance and strength like a predator.

Human are animals we supposed to be dangerous and grown man should me extremely intimidating tbh.

Deep set is more important for the hunter eyes look. Pct is the cherry on the top
