This website operates heavily on what is called a sunk cost fallacy. Meaning you will be less likely to delete your account as it gets older and has more posts/rep due to the forum status associated with this. This is a sick method designed to keep you hooked. Do not let your account climb into the 1000s of posts, or it's over. Or just be low inhibition enough to delete your account anyway.

Another element is that it also becomes learned helplessness because as you spend more time here you are literally building the identity for yourself that you are a loser who should just rot here anyway

I've already done ego death, and do everything in my power to ascend. To tell you the truth, I did made a rating thread once and got rated hmtn. Though I deleted it later due to the vip perk jfl

Somewhat agree. but honestly, in the end. if people use or abuse the website is just a product of free will bro you cant dictate what happens

the complete, temporary loss of your subjective sense of self and individual identity so I don't really care about ratings no more whether I'm subhuman or chad

This is the problem with the website. this is not an achievement. 1000 posts doesn't shouldn't couldn't mean anything tangible
