I have sock lifts, they don't add much height probably like half an inch. Definitely not an inch like the advertising claimed. Although I haven't measured so don't quote me. I don't think the add an inch though. They also move around in your socks and therefore if you move around you wobble in them.

Also it's very hard to put on socks and stretch them up your leg with the sock lifts because the socks keep getting stuck on your heels because of the lifts getting in the way. Sock lifts are a no from me
