I'm not the right person to ask for career advice. Engineering is better than compsci or IT however, more jobs in more fields, including software engineering if thats really the path you want to go down but its not just limited to that. Just do what you're naturally inclined to, I'm a floundering mess that can't for the life of me find a purpose or future.
