Low t is a terrible thing

Now I stand by mmy word here, sub 1000 ng/dl males need to be on trt

However a good start can be to at least have your genetic potential

Here is a quote from a doctor

"
Elevated estrogen not only diminishes men's testosterone levels. It can also put both men and women at risk for heart disease and certain types of cancer. According to the Journal of Medicinal Food, estrogen-blocking foods that contain phytochemicals can help reduce estrogen levels in thebloodstream"

This means all the estrogen you are Ibjestibg are actually effecting your looks. Political ideology. And energy. And mood.

So let's see how to fix this:

You need to avoid these foods

10 ESTROGEN BOOSTING FOODS

Estrogen plays an incredibly important role in the functioning of both female and male bodies and therefore, maintaining balanced estrogen levels is key. If you’re interested in exactly what role estrogen plays, click here. When an individual is looking to help naturally boost their estrogen levels, estrogen boosting foods can make a big difference.

10 Estrogen building foods:
Tofu
Tofu is produced from soy milk which is naturally high in phytoestrogens, specifically isoflavones. Tofu is a very versatile ingredient and can be used in anything from soup to stir fry.

Flax Seeds
Flaxseeds, otherwise known as linseeds, contain lignans which are a type of phytoestrogen. Flaxseed can be used to add nutrients to bread, salad, cereal or smoothies amongst other things and therefore can be a simple and effective way of ensuring you are eating plenty of estrogen boosting foods.

Sesame Seeds
Similar to flaxseeds, sesame seeds fall into the ‘estrogen boosting foods’ category due to their high levels of lignans. Often used in Asian cooking sesame contains 11.2mg of lignans per ounce making them an excellent choice to help boost your estrogen levels through food.

Soybeans
Soybeans, otherwise known as edamame, are known to be one of the best sources of phytoestrogens and therefore are one of the most effective estrogen boosting foods available. Edamame makes an excellent snack and is a convenient and delicious way to eat estrogen rich food.

Hummus
Often used as a dip or spread, hummus is made from chickpeas and contains 993mcg of phytoestrogens per 100g making it a great choice. It’s ideal for snacking on with vegetables and provides a healthy and balanced way to add more phytoestrogens into your diet.

Garlic
Garlic is part of the onion family and is a source of isoflavonoids, containing about 603mcg of phytoestrogens per 100g. Garlic is used in cooking throughout the world and therefore offers a simple way to include an estrogen rich food in your diet.

Dried Fruit
Dried fruit, such as apricots, prunes or dates, contain much higher levels of phytoestrogens than their fresh varieties. Dried apricots are a particularly good source containing 445.5mcg of phytoestrogens per 100g.

Wholegrain Bread
Bread which contains wholegrains, such as flax, rye, wheat, barley or oats, have naturally high levels of lignans, a kind of phytoestrogen, and depending on the concentration in an individual loaf, can be an excellent way to help boost estrogen levels through food.

Fennel
Fennel is a flavourful and versatile herb which can be used in a variety of dishes. It also contains high levels of phytoestrogens making it ideal for boosting estrogen through food.

Alfalfa Sprouts
Alfalfa sprouts are a nutritious addition to salads, with high levels of vitamin K and vitamin C, they also have very high levels of phytoestrogens. The health benefits of alfalfa sprouts come as a result of being picked at the very early stages of growth and they contain 441.4g of phytoestrogen per 100g

1. Soy and Soy-Based Products
Some research shows that regularly eating soy products like edamame, tofu, soy milk and miso may cause a drop in testosterone levels.

For example, one study in 35 men found that drinking soy protein isolate for 54 days resulted in decreased testosterone levels (3Trusted Source).

Soy foods are also high in phytoestrogens, which are plant-based substances that mimic the effects of estrogen in your body by altering hormone levels and potentially reducing testosterone (4Trusted Source).

Though human-based research is limited, one rat study showed that consuming phytoestrogens significantly decreased testosterone levels and prostate weight (5Trusted Source).

However, other research found conflicting results, suggesting that soy-based foods may not have as much of an impact as these isolated soy components.

In fact, one large review of 15 studies found that soy foods had no effect on testosterone levels in men (6Trusted Source).

Further research is needed to understand how soy products as a whole may influence testosterone levels in humans.

SUMMARY
Animal and human studies have found that certain compounds in soy-based foods may decrease testosterone levels, but research is still inconclusive.
2. Mint
Perhaps most well-known for its powerful stomach-soothing properties, some research suggests that mint could cause a dip in testosterone levels.

In particular, spearmint and peppermint — two herbs that hail from the mint family of plants — have been shown to have a direct impact on testosterone.

One 30-day study in 42 women showed that drinking spearmint herbal tea daily caused a significant decline in testosterone levels (7Trusted Source).

Similarly, an animal study found that administering spearmint essential oil to rats for 20 days resulted in reduced testosterone levels (8Trusted Source).

Meanwhile, another animal study noted that drinking peppermint tea altered hormone levels in rats, leading to a decrease in testosterone, compared to a control group (9Trusted Source).

However, most research on mint and testosterone focuses on women or animals.

High-quality human studies focusing on both genders are needed to assess how mint affects testosterone levels in both men and women.

SUMMARY
Some studies show that spearmint and peppermint may cause a decrease in testosterone levels, but research has so far focused on the effects on women or animals.
3. Licorice Root
Licorice root is an ingredient commonly used to sweeten candies and beverages.

It’s also a popular natural remedy in holistic medicine and often used to treat everything from chronic pain to persistent coughing (10Trusted Source).

In recent years, several studies have found that licorice may also influence hormone levels, potentially leading to a decline in testosterone over time.

In one study, 25 men consumed 7 grams of licorice root daily, which caused a 26% drop in testosterone levels after just one week (11Trusted Source).

Another small study showed that licorice may reduce testosterone levels in women as well, reporting that 3.5 grams of licorice daily decreased testosterone levels by 32% after just one menstrual cycle (12Trusted Source).

Keep in mind that this applies to licorice root rather than licorice candy, which often doesn’t contain any licorice root.

SUMMARY
Licorice root has been shown to significantly decrease testosterone levels in both men and women.

because depression is more linked to experiences than and genetics than hormones
Dudes here like to blame everything on being low T, which was the point I was trying to make. I don’t think injecting T will make a substantial difference in someone’s life

High t won’t fix everything especially if you aren’t low t to begin with

if your geniunely low t it will definitely help
But if your 500 ng something won’t do shit

depression is due to failing in life or constant negative experiences your literally doing the same response we would do in the past as animals if wounded but in this case your emotional wounded

Made absolutely 0 difference to my life being on TRT, unless you're suffering symptoms that can be proven to be Androgen deficiency and not just depressive/stress then don't bother

Masculine face =/= good looking face. Gotta rated slightly lower after as hair quality decreased.

Getting your t levels fixed does improve mood and well-being. It will cure a big part of depression if you're really low t.
But normal to high t won't make that much of a difference.

High t makes normal life way easier though as you gain courage, drive and strength.
Also increases horniness and the confidence for hitting on women.

This might lead to a better life and it'll cure depression that way.
The normal type of depression is caused by a bad and boring life, not by absolute chemical imbalances although that can happen too but is much more rare.
