I was just scrolling through threads, being my 21 year old self until this thread popped up:

I'm turning 22 in like 6 months so this is especially brutal for me. I feel it closing in. For all you younger people, say under 20, do not do this to yourself. Touch grass and make the most of it because it goes quick.

That threat was wrote by a retard that is probs 17. They are not the best years its way better as you get older and become more secure in yourself plus have money. Also most people look like shit in late teens. Men look best (assuming they look after themselves) in mid 20s to early 30s when they actually fill out and develop into a man not late teens and really early 20s when most still look like goofy children.

The idea that peak looks are in early 20s is because allot of people stop taking care of themselves and will gain weight or go bald

Also yeah being old and posting here for hours daily means your probs fkd up. But you get niche looksmaxxing advice on these types of forums that is hard to find on most social media.

Tbh, I hope you are right and I would want this to be true so don't think I don't wish for this to be true because I do. I do I believe men can peak in 30s if they have good aging genetics for it, take care of themselves and have established wealth and resources.

As I've gotten older though, I've realised 30 isn't really that old, in fact it's still fairly young but approaching middle age. It's just the emphasis held on youth, which is defined at 15 - 25 is an important milestone and something needs to have happened within that time frame at the very least. I get your point though.

Im 29 now and look the best I ever have. At 20 I looked like a kid still. Now jaw and face more masculinised/developed. Shoulders broader. Full head of hair still because of dutasteride. Face looks better. Look at celebritys who have to look after how they look. Most arent looking best at 20.

People let themselves go and gain weight, don't try to prevent hair loss, don't look after their skin.

The most important thing to do when you are 15-25 like you said is work on yourself, experience/try allot of things, work on getting good social skills, look after how you look (skincare, exercise, steroids etc) and build good habits. Habits get harder to break/make as you get older because the level of neuroplasticity in the brain decreases (also why older people take longer to learn languages generally).

I mean, you are 29 so you know more than me I'm sure.

Yeah I've got shit I need to improve tbh. I let myself go to this crap and didn't even bother trying. it's a defeatist mentality. I used to be a frequent user on lookism a few years ago and that was like this site on steroids. The hope was sucked out of me on that site, it makes this site look tame.

Your 22 lol most people don't even get serious until mid-late 20s (or later in quite allot of cases). Just start working on getting good habits and ignore neurotic negative weirdos on these forums. Internet forums (even tame ones like reddit) attract allot of neurotic and pessimistic people. You say you have a defeatist mentality Idk enough about you and/or problems you may have so I cant help you with that but just dont get caught up in social media/forum bshit.

Every year after 18 it becomes exponentially weirder to not have your social life together. At 21 the “where’s the girlfriend” questions really started for me and now at 25 I’m basically considered an irredeemable basket case.

People romanticize college but what they really mean is freshman year. It’s the maximum intersection of high freedom low responsibility. Fuck up those precious 20 weeks and your whole life trajectory starts sloping down, it’s honestly so insane.

Yeah, I'm officially diagnosed as an autistic, so that makes things challenging. I've got too much to work on. My skin is pale as shit and I've 230 lbs at 6 ft and I've been extremely inactive for years too. I've only just come out of that but it's difficult. Gotta be consistent for it to work but the pessimism can make this stuff off putting. i

Well tanning is easy. In terms of your weight just walking makes a huge difference and in my experience (I had 2 years rotting before with drugs) it actually improves your sense of wellbeing massively. Aim for a daily step count and start lifting if you aren't already.

Based on the way you talk you might have autism but you dont seem like your at the real bad end of the spectrum. You can still learn to socialise but you just need to put yourself in situations where you are around allot of people. Id try and get a job in a bar or pub.

Nothing to be pessimistic about your 22 you can fix a bunch of your issues in less then a year and you aren't behind people (most people are a mess at 22). Just start working on it now you don't want to be 30 and in the same position lacking social skills and being out of shape.

I’m trying to reach my max potential and then try it’s so brutal a girl approached me on new years and asked if I wanted to go back to her place and I said no because I’m working on my self 😭

Yeah. Im naturally ectomorphic and been extremely sedentary for years at 230 lbs at 6 ft. People often think I'm obese with klinefelter syndrome but I've already ruled out klinefelter with a karotype.

Org needs the veterans cause how else would this work? 17 year old virgin gives advice to another 17 year old virgin?
