California is a dump and stupid expensive yes but you're surrounded by some of the smartest engineers, developers and thinkers in the world. The workload is intense and pace is fast yes but the exposure, the networking, the sheer opportunity to work on things that actually shape the future is unmatched anywhere else. The salaries are also through the roof.
You don't have settle just spending time in the ecosystem is like a huge power boost for your career. Definitely consider moving to the US. You'll make mad money and can retire in your home country after a few years of work. US is the ultimate noneymaxxing country.
