I was too when I was a kid, but then everyone grew, while I remained short and with an neotenous, undeveloped face. I wasn't aware of this however, but everyone started to avoid me, act awkward when I was around, even though I was the same funny, talkative guy... After a while seeing how everyone acted weird around me, I became more quiet, introverted and shy, thinking something is wrong with me, my personality or the things I say, when in reality it was just the way I looked...
