DMAA, the old-school stimulant, the drug that was in Jack3d, the GRAIL of all preworkout drugs. Why did it get left behind? Why are you letting the prohibitions get in your way? DMAA is still the greatest drug to ever be created, and is the best stimulant, PERIOD. I'll go over all of its details and benefits here.
DMAA, 1,3 Dimethylamylamine, or Methylhexanamine is a synthetic stimulant that was once used as a hardcore preworkout supplement and a fat burner. It is a CNS (Central Nervous System) stimulant that causes vasoconstriction and releases great amounts of norepinephrine to give you raw energy, aggression, and focus.
While on this drug, you may feel calm, ultra focused, or euphoric, or maybe even all of them. It is FANTASTIC for working out, but it is also fantastic at a majority of other things.
There are three main categories that DMAA dominate when it comes to lifestyle and mogging shit:
- Disinhibition
- Anxiolysis
- Diuresis
Lets go over the disinhibition effects first. If you aren't familiar, disinhibition is the removal of normal restraints your brain may make. It won't filter as many things that come to mind, making you feel much more free, loose, and social. Taking DMAA before an event will GREATLY help your sociability, and people will notice it. You will be amazingly fluent when it comes to speaking, like you don't have to think about what comes out of your mouth before saying it. Awkwardness a person may have will be eliminated (for the most part, depending on the person) and can work wonders when it comes to social events.
Anxiolysis. DMAA is an anxiety KILLER, and it will make you feel dominant in whatever space you choose to be in. The norepinephrine release that DMAA invokes will increase alertness and confidence immensely, making you a sociable demon. You'll especially notice its effects when you are locked in on a task, whether that is benching, doing math, playing chess, or doing a sport of your choice. The anxiolysis effect DMAA has is truly great, and you are missing out if you aren't reaping this benefit from it.
When on DMAA, you'll notice a diuretic effect take place. It promotes water excretion through the kidneys, reducing water retention or "water weight" that takes place within your body, including your bloatcel face. This makes it fucking AMAZING to take before an event where you want to mog shit. It is incredibly noticeable.

Now, these are instances where if you want to mog shit or be a disinhibcel you can dominate in those fields, but if you are a person who requires a lot of focus to finish tasks that may involve money, DMAA is your drug.
Lots of people turn towards Adderall or other amphetamines + nootropics in order to have the ultimate focus on your task. These are decent alternatives, but the tradeoff is a bit brutal when it comes to amphetamines. I won't argue against nootropics, those are cool. But DMAA will forever mog amphetamines when it comes to productivity and locking the fuck in on a task at hand. You are able to stay put and it allows you to complete the task at hand. Adderall makes the process itself feel rewarding, so you keep going even if the output is wrong in some cases. Also, DMAA has a neurochemical profile that will not downregulate your dopamine receptors like amphetamines will. When it comes to tolerance, DMAA mogs amphetamines hard since substances like dextroamphetamine have a much more pronounced tolerance tendency linked to them. On the other end, DMAA tolerance is very hard to achieve.
So, what is my protocol? How do I ensure I stay healthy long-term on DMAA?
I take 20-30mgs before the gym every day, or 50mgs before an event.
20-30 mgs DMAA won't hurt you if you take it prolonged indefinitely, but I highly suggest pairing it with a vasodilator like Cialis (tadalafil) preferably. This ensures your blood is flowing properly and the acute blood pressure spike from DMAA can be somewhat counteracted by the tadalafil.
As a preface, I wouldn't advise you take over 50 mgs of DMAA, and I'll explain why. As you get higher in dosing with DMAA, yes you will feel more euphoric within, which I have to admit, is a fucking awesome feeling. But the issue is, there are more and more tradeoffs as you get higher with dosing. You won't feel any more sociable or low inhib above 50 mgs, you will only start to feel unreal, your blood pressure will spike too high, your blood vessels will overwhelmingly constrict, and you will feel like abominable SHIT after your event/task. It isn't worth doing. I, many times, have taken 80 mgs, and it makes you feel pretty fucking lit and unreal, the feeling is great for the most part. But about two hours after dosing, I just start to feel tired, and have a desire to go home and just do nothing. I honestly go pretty depressive and its incredibly noticeable. Anecdotally, I don't suggest it. The neurochemical profile further backs up why it'll make you feel this way too. When your body rebounds into parasympathetic dominance, it will produce great feelings of brain fog, emotional flatness, and lethargy. This happens when the sympathetic nervous system rebounds when entering a certain stage in the half-life, and it genuinely just burns out.

Simply: 50 men put on placebo, 50 mgs DMAA, 250 mgs caffeine, and 50 mgs DMAA and 250 mgs caffiene. After 12 weeks, "12 weeks of daily supplementation with caffeine and DMAA, alone or in combination, does not result in a statistically significant change in any of the measured outcome variables.”
The only minor changes observed were:
They weren't even taking tadalafil either.
