Everyone here will build the exact same amount of muscle eating at maintenance calories as on a bulk, if protein is equated

If someone weighs like 110lbs a bulk would be necessary or else it would take them like 4 years to even be regular size.

Any football or wrestling coach will tell you to eat more to put on muscle. It doesn’t have to be junk food either. Just eat a surplus and continue working out.

Isn't that maingaining? Revival Fitness has gone over this repeatedly. The best way to build muscle is through bulking and fat gain isn't a big deal as long as you do it responsibly and stay in the healthy range. It's not that hard.

Focus on progressive overload, eating enough protein, and staying consistent with your workouts. maintaining a slight calorie balance can still lead to solid muscle gains, without the extra fat that often comes with traditional bulking. It’s all about being smart with your nutrition and training, not just eating everything in sight

Because they have to do harsh cuts for shows and they want to get back to a normal body fat percentage so they have energy to train. The average person here is not a professional bodybuilder.

Why are bodybuilders the most muscular ? Because they train the most optimally eat the most optimally and roid up with superior genetics. Now that being said if they do everything the most optimal why would they bulk? By your logic if maintain is the most optimal then they would do that. lol these guys are killing themselves for a 1% improvemt in muscle if maintain was the way they would be doing jt

Did you even read what I said? Bodybuilders have to be at a very low body fat percentage for shows, which causes them to be energy depleted. They bulk so they can get back to a healthy body fat percentage as fast as possible, everyone here is already at a fine body fat percentage, so they don’t have to bulk. Calories have no impact on muscle gain, only protein and training stimulus.

Curries can build muscle but we have to bulk maingaining isn’t possible for curries. That is why I reacted to your post the way I did. I agree with everything else you say but it can’t be a generalised statement to include curries. I wasted 3 years of lifting listening to Greg doucette yap about maingain when it’s not possible for a skinny fat curry like me
