When nobody in your family or extended family has ever gone bald, I can't see why you would need to take fin. When you've got genes for never going beyond NW4, or more likely NW3, even at 50, 60 or 70 years old, I can't see a reason for needing fin. Really can't.

The less hair loss, the more correctable. That's my impression, not having delved into it yet.

I get ur point but how do u know your hair loss has halted at say NW3? family pattern isn't always reliable many people recede more than their fathers do due to western soy diet etc, You've got to be waiting till late 20s-early 30 to get HT then and spend most of ur time in-between looking like shit. So you might as well hop on fin+min and see some improvement before u reach ur final pattern

You take your chances in life. The odds are stacked on your side when no-one related is bald or near bald. I guess in ten years time there will be new techniques for HT anyhow, some are on the horizon already. And most likely they're not needed. But if they were, which I doubt, I've got no doubt I'd rather look better early in life than hypothetically saving some of those looks for old age.
