No. While it did have the best US Presidents ever (Nixon/Kennedy) it was also the highest point of general American happiness. Not to mention the social climate was great. Just a happy time where you HAD to be proud to be an American.

If I had to pick, I would have been born in 1980. I get to experience the 80s as a child, the 1990s (which everyone says is the GOAT era) as a teenager, and my early 20s in the early 2000s.

Everything went to shit when Obama became President, so at least I would've gotten my youth done before his Presidency
