I think western men are already at this stage.

Anyway, men in the past didn't dumpster dive because it's wasn't culturally acceptable or notmalised. I read a stat that back in the 1990s in the UK only 10% found hookups acceptable. Now it's probably 80% plus. Most people are doing it.
