Suppressing the trash hormone DHT is also very effective for acne, suppressing the trash hormone DHT + retinoids = perfect clear skin guarantee in most cases.

Only thing that worked for me is Accutane and my skin wasn’t even that bad I was worried I wouldn’t get it prescribed, I js went into derm and he said what could I do for you and I js said can I get Accutane and got da shi

It’s just stupid isotretinoin is being guarded so heavily especially for guys (bc there’s no pregnancy risks) and they are just told all this idiotic crap like wash your pillowcase like that will solve anything. Meanwhile there’s this ultimate solution out there but you have to 1) know about it, 2) realize the fearmongering is stupid, and 3) then beg for it to even get it and hope they consider your acne bad enough. Another stupid thing is the regimen is often very high dose but if people have bad sides a lower dose would suit them better, just takes longer. But this is not always considered.

Personally I just bought it off the internet to save time and effort

Nice, glad you got what worked and really one of the few things that actually works that isn't a form of coping around the issue but instead addresses the root cause(mainly excessive sebum production). Many dermatologists are restrictive with that shit as fuck and rather have you use cope creams or even take (toxic) antibiotics lol. You can often microdose isotretinoin as well and it is often just as effective if you take it long enough as high dosages or megadosages for shorter periods are and you can avoid most side-effects and risks that way too. Seems like it is mostly just about being on retinoids long enough and giving them time to work over a long period enough of time.

Ehh I assume you did more than microdosing though just saying that they often are restrictive as fuck with this for no reason and let tons of people suffer from ineffective cope methods instead of being prescribed what actually works. Glad you were able to fix it.

I also used to have quite a lot of acne especially as adult but was able to fix it by suppressing DHT + oral retinoids. Now I have perfect clear skin nearly always. 👌 Mogs as hell.

Yeah hahaha, they rather have you do cope methods than address the root cause, stupid as hell!! Like you said you can avoid most side-effects risks by microdosing it and it is often just as effective as higher dosages if you give it enough time. Megadosing is outdated and retarded as fuck.

I gave oral retinol a try myself and been taking it for 2 1/2+ years now, helped clear up my skin entirely. I can barely take it more than a few times a month now because it makes my skin dry and irritated if I take more since the effects have built up over such a long period just like microdosing isotretinoin, this winter I had to take a full break because it was making my skin dry and red and flakey as fuck after its effects had built up over almost 2 years. Even that shit is potent as hell for me. If that didn't work I would just have gotten ahold of oral isotretinoin myself and microdosed that but I didn't need to. Anyway just proved to me how effective oral retinoids are too and most anything else are cope methods. Tried other cope methods before and they were garbage or had even worse side-effects. Suppressing DHT was quite effective though.

Anyway they are gatekeeping what works for real as fuck. Some alternatives like antibiotics are way more toxic and unhealthy for you too, yet they rather give that before isotretinoin... 🤢🤮

Oral retinol is OTC and a good alternative to try before/instead low-dosing or microdosing isotretinoin, studies also show it comparably effective. It has the same side-effects potentially though and is more potentially toxic if you megadose it but is dirt cheap and doesn't hurt to try within RDA if you can't get ahold of isotretinoin or want to try a "poor man's alternative". Actually only reason it is not a pharmaceutical is because it is technically a vitamin also and no profit can be made, I think. Before isotretinoin and tretinoin came about it WAS used clinically for treating acne. I think the supplement really is more like a pharmaceutical than vitamin though, that is how strong both effects and side-effects have been for me. Either way it is an oral retinoid and oral retinoids are what works best with least amount of cope. Oh and suppressing DHT too, of course.

Don't know if anybody will read my paragraphs(most likely many will stumble upon this over time) but enjoy.
