No you don’t if your skinnyfat and you start eating clean,if you stay the same weight you will remain skinny fat, fat has a purpose for the body muscle has 0,so if your low body fat the last thing your body is going to do is replace it with muscle

Haven’t eaten clean in my life, eat red meat daily, still have a little bit of muscle and a little fat after 3 years of hard training.

Maybe it’s time to start eating clean considering some people don’t think I’ve stepped into a gym in my life and I’ve done 2 cycles jfl

Yeah, if your body is shit right now from poor diet, years of inactivity, you’ll need some sort of exercise, calisthenics or weights to change it. Muscles won’t automatically grow because muh clean food detected.

And calories are absolutely essential for weight loss. How do i know this? calories in calories out helped me lose 20lbs of fat.

If anyone ever tells you calories don’t matter and you can gain muscle in a large deficit or lose fat in a surplus of calories, they’re not to be trusted. Disregard whatever they say afterwards.

I find that too many people here have a conspiratorial mindset that makes it easy for them to fall for alternative diet gurus who claim to be “challenging the system”

calories im doing good on, just low quality foods and lack of vitamins from fruits/vegetables.

I do a pretty standard PPL with a wram up set + 2 sets to failure at 6-10 reps per exercise

I eat fruits almost everyday, start doing so, see what happens, at this point i’d consider finding a high quality coach, not online or any bs like that, just an in person one

i do both, body building mornings, olympic in afternoons

since olmypic is more form than strength, I shouldn't be over training

I don’t know you, your genetics, or anything else but can tell you for sure working out twice a day would burn me tf out fast.

What are you strength numbers? How many pullups, bench, row, bicep curl, dips, etc?
