If you get enough protein and fat, can your deficit ever be too large?

If you get enough protein and fats (for muscle and hormones) but did a tone of cardio, does that make you just lose more fat, or will you lose lean tissue instead?

thats what i always wanted to know, and it seems as tho you will lose more fat rather than lean tissue but inevitably like in every deficit, both.
I feel as tho if you get protein and fats and train in gym you will mostly lose fat tissue, regardless of how large you make the deficit through carido, but idk.

you will likely lose both fat and muscle if you deficit for a long time, altough you will retain most muscle if you eat well
