I actually care!
Back when I was in college a girl came one day in class with a smartphone - they were very rare back then, and it wasn't an Apple. When I saw it, I immediately yelled:
- "OMG, you have a smartphone, that's amazing! How much RAM does it have, what CPU, what Android version?".
You should have seen the look on her face! She started to look around scared, like a little girl who didn't learn her lesson, and was like :
- "Ummm, what?...why do you ask this?"
- "Well, these things are pretty expensive. I'm pretty sure you bought it for for the huge amount of processing power and sophisticated apps you run on it. What apps do you run?"
-"Ummm...I dunno...".
I quickly figured out the girl was a complete moron, just a ditzy bimbo who had no idea about hardware, specs, Android or apps and simply bought the expensive phone to show off, not because she needed its superior specs.
