Depends on type or anime. If it's like a cool badass character from a well known anime, that's fine. But if it's like of a cringe random "kawaii" anime pic, they're 100% inkwell

Animal avis are acceptable. I don't wanna sound biased but I think ones like mine has aura.

Anime avi's tend to be teenagers. Edgy ones usually try to be overly edgy which gives it kinda a bad rep imo.
