Yeah active acne is worse, but it also depends on what type of scars you're referring to. Hyperpigmentation is fine and usually borderline invisible when not exposed to direct sunlight. As for deep pitted scars, they can get pretty ugly from what I have seen.

Depends on the scar type. Laser and subsicion work for rolling scars (look it up). It is the scars that when you strech the skin they disappear. Boxcar scars I got punch elevation like cutting the scars and then lifting it up. Icepick I don't really know much about tbh I don't have any of those. Subsicion was the best for me tbh as I have lots of rolling scars. I am still recovering from the last one I had a week ago, my skin still looks bruised jfll
