After 4 months of minimal social contact and dwelling in my NEET lair I started eating lunch and dinner downstairs with my family and going school.

My mood and motivation is way better now, I am more successful in the things I do, can concentrate better playing guitar, learning etc.

Even if you feel good not talking to anyone, chances are high you are lifequalityminning yourself hard.

I live with my dad and can visit my bro and mom anytime so that's pretty much all I need until college starts again. Never really had real friends to hangout with so it's just a way of life I'm accustomed too.

hard to do that when I am literally not allowed to meet people because I am so subhuman, and only did the bare minimum interaction by going to class cause i was made to feel unwelcome.

It's less about my personality pushing people away and more so not interacting with people at all because 1. I developed pretty bad social anxiety in my early teens and 2. I don't exactly need/rely on other people for anything.

It was over to begin with though
Keeping social contacts was a constant stream of effort and failure and never got me anywhere
Now i send my energies inwards and disregard people
