I'll never understand where this mindset comes from - I secretly think/wish I'll be the first person to live on forever - if you leave something beyond, whether a descendant or a work, that alone should be enough if one is not a believer, which is something else entirely. Or the best option is not to think about this at all, because you can still die at any moment.
