same here, grew up in a catholic household (croatian classic), everyone talking how good smart and great god is and whenever i asked about infants with cancer and children dying across the world they would just respond with "gods plan" or smthn retarded, i respect people who believe in him but its just too much for me. also many logical fallacies in the bible / contradictions just make me distance myself from religion. it is a nice idea (cope) tho, always having someone who loves u
