Only time I'll tag ppl in a thread is when it's a specific person/people who I genuinely want their opinion on the topic of discussion I would never tag people just for replies or reacts. They'll just tag all the most frequent users they aren't even really "bros" and it just ruins the quality of the thread anyway I don't understand. I prefer a thread that is natural and organic and has quality replies rather than a thread with a ton of replies but none of them are actually interesting or funny.
