This is called Moissanite. The closest thing to a diamond but is artificial made in labs, behaves and looks extremely similar to diamonds. The same brilliance , extreme hardness and durability to be a gemstone worn everyday. It also passes the cheaper diamond testers as being real diamond. The only way to tell it apart is to have a experienced gemologist look at it's crystals under a microscope ๐Ÿ”ฌ or through a very expensive diamond debeers diamond tester machine.

It's also very cheap and much better than cubic zirconium which doesn't have the brilliance or lab grown diamonds that are significantly more expensive. Look out for these moissanite diamonds you can easily find them through a quick Google search they are easily available in much larger carats that have more more presence on your finger. 5ct, 7ct even 10ct stones like in those NBA and NFL championship rings that are ultra rare for diamonds but can easily be found for dirt cheap with moissanite, also more intricate designs because they are artificially made. They are in trend these days.

Unironically have had women seethe abt this saying they want a real thing when its not different at all, diamonds are a psyop in general before them we just used simple gold rings

Yes it's a psyops. Diamonds aren't really rare. There are found in every continent in massive deposits, it's just that 99% of the supply is controlled by a single company debeers that artificially creates a shortage and through marketting campaign made it the default wedding ring

Moissanite any day, if anyone ever finds out, I'll LARP caring about blood diamonds and then they're the asshole for not caring about slave labour in favour of vanity

I hate diamond, gold > diamond any day most people dont know that the company de beers held around 80%+ of all diamond mines and put them into storage inflating the price, now they donโ€™t own as much but the price is still high
