IQ and literary ability can have correlations due to the innate ability to remember words and their usages as well as the desire to learn more having correlations with higher IQ but by solely improving one's literary ability you're doing just that and nothing else. Nah I think it would raise it. I've spent years with my brain in low power mode, not learning new shit mainly just rotting etc. And I definitely feel slower/lower IQ than i did when i was studymaxxing hardcore
