Would it be too much pressure?

If you mew too hard it might actually do something

By exerting force you pass energy from one body to another, which means that when mewing the force you apply with your tongue will be passed to another body (maxilla) and this will "move up and forward" (CCWr), which means that it's doing his work.

This girl mews. What would you rate her?

Mewing is a cope after 18

tbh nobody will believe me (because mew = cope but also because I won't post them) but I looked at old pictures of myself (at 15?) and my upper eyelid exposure has shrunken dramatically. When smiling I had visible upper eyelid show and now they are hooded in the same pose. I don't remember when I started mewing but it must have been like 10 years ago when I was in late HS or early uni. Was definitely mewing in early uni. With minimal squintmaxxing (no visible wrinkles) I can hood them.

My assumption is that it does something over very long periods of time but it's not going to do anything noticeable even if you do it over the span of a couple of years. Only by looking back that far do I see a significant change.

I would also guess that I picked up mewing naturally because I did not wear my retainer after getting braces on my upper arch and maintained my straight upper teeth and expanded that dental arch after getting them. (my retainer does not even remotely fit due to being too small).

I don't know if I have any side profile pictures from that time to estimate whether there was CW face rotation.

what about your molars did you rest them together or apart?

Always together

I am paranoid about getting bruxism because my mouth is always clenched together. Not super hard, but at rest they are always together.

Majority of people that hard mew end up with asymmetry

If you mewed for 3 years and nothing changed, your genetics are simply shit. Mewing doesn't magically give you the bone structure you never had, regardless of age. Im sure there's some 14 year old trying desperately to mew with 0 results

I used to match with landwhales but since I started mewing I've been getting slightly better results.

Did you ever record your progress? Or are you like me, and never really took pictures

I don't even know what I looked like in middle school

Firstly it impossible because you have to sleep, eat, speak…

Second even if you do manage to keep you your tongue up most of your awake time, your tongue muscles would be at a greater risk of being damaged than anything else.

Third, although the pressure itself wouldn’t cause any harm, it’s unlikely it will have any significant effect after puberty.
