There have been many studies that suggest, if you tell someone they were abused, you end up making them feel like victims when they wouldn't have felt like victims otherwise. Many have argued that trauma from adult-minor sex usually comes from the hysteria and reaction from society instead of the act itself.
So the question is, you take your 14 year old daughter to Disney World, she meets a 30 year old man and gets fucked. What do you do? Tell her she got abused and make her feel like a victim, traumatizing her? Or do you not tell her she was a victim so you don't traumatize her.
