my potential is maxxed out at just being a
“Likeable cool guy whos fun to be around”
I will never have the “aura” or that sprezzatura (effortless grace)
that comes with being htn+
The ability to take control of an entire room.
Two men like this— larger than life— that immediately come to mind for me are Leonardo Dicaprio and Robert Downey Jr.
I often times imagine how their young lives would’ve been.
I picture them being at a party, in the middle of a big group telling a story, and everyone is just hanging on to their every word, and it having nothing to due with their fame, but purely their presence
How you probably could’ve looked at these guys when they were 16-17, and known in that moment
“This guy’s gonna be famous one day”.
I’ve only met a handful of people in my life with that kind of presence….with that sprezzatura.
Looks give you a certain presence that no amount of social skills can ever give you.
My only ever dream has been to become one of these people.
One of these people who are destined for greatness.
I truly believe the only thing holding me back is my looks.
It’s so frustrating because looks are THE FIRST thing people see.
It’s like this wall you have to climb over just to be even considered in the same group as a htn+
Like you’re not even human.
The hoops you have to jump through at mmtn and below are astonishing.
It’s like…I KNOW I am an amazing person.
I KNOW I have that presence, that sprezzatura…
but it will never be seen, because im ugly, or because im not at least htn.
I feel that @Clavicular is the same in this way.
One of those people destined for greatness, but he doesn’t look the part…yet.
He is MAKING himself look the part.
I will do anything I can to ascend, and look the part.
To achieve my destiny and be one of those people who are larger than life.
One of those people who walk into a room and just take control of it.
The type of guy you meet once at a bar and you never forget.
That’s the only thing I’ve ever wanted.
You can cage at this and say water but I’m just speaking my truth.
And I don’t give a fuck about foids.
Now that I think about it, it’s never been about foids.
It’s just been about being the man I have always dreamed of being.
Being one of the greats.
