up to u. way i see it if you get treated as white by society than ur basically white. If you go round actively claiming to be ethnic, thats also imposter in a sense coz people who look ethnic will face racism whereas u wont

based on my experiences, no. MENAs that look like u have very high appeal bc of racial passing, those Lebanese/Syrian/Jordanian Levant people have broader appeal but those are very rare and quite honestly I don’t consider them truly MENA. Seriously some of them have blue eyes and pitch white skin.

In my experience, gulf Arabs & North Africans do not have broad appeal. Unfortunately, they check too many boxes of the negative stereotypes of Arabs (hairy bodies, big noses, buggy eyes, dark skin, short, etc).

they weren’t there for that long, iraq was only under british rule for 17 years, even if they were there for 50-100 it wouldn’t have been enough to change their genes on a significant level

if anything they got the genes from the ottomans who ruled over them for centuries, and probably intermixed more and gave them this gene

at the end of the day it’s obscure history that nobody cares about. what i meant to say was western asians and levantine arabs have completely different DNA to your typical saudi or gulf arab, arab is a cultural and religious term rather than a genetic or ethnic one
