Let's see why I believe that BP and socialism are oxymorons.

To illustrate my point, I will use a group of 10 people in both comparisons.

What socialist societies have in common is obvious: less socioeconomic imbalance compared to capitalist ones.
For example, if 10 people are given the same plot of land regardless of their productivity, they will be paid equally,
which overall leads to the group staying poor and unproductive.

On the other hand, in a capitalist society, from a group of 10 there will be one person who will outperform the rest, be it because he is more hardworking or intelligent. Given enough time, the successful farmer will come up with the idea of giving loans to the unproductive chaps in order for them to catch up. This way, not only is he enslaving one person to pay back interest, but also his future generations. Thus, a gap is created between those who excel at capitalism and those who don't have what it takes.


In its essence, the factors that define this social phenomenon are predetermined, or as we call it, genetics; if you're intelligent, good-looking, tall, etc. Your socioeconomic class circumstances and social mobility are all genetics. The rich and poor are chads and sub5s, respectively.
Considering this information, you can't confine better DNA material in abstract concepts of equality when, in our nature, we are different.

There’s a script I read in a religious textbook when I was a kid and this thread reminded of that.
