It's better to be ugly tbh. People will go out of their way to tell you that you look like shit. People laugh at you when you walk past them, they remember your face, they comment on your appearance when you appear in the background of a photo, etc.
It means you live rent-free inside of their head. Anything better than being average and thus invisible.
