I knew graduating without a girlfriend / future wife was high risk..but I thought I could meet someone via work.
That was technically true for those entry level jobs. Many places I applied or went to interviews for were packed with young grads and people around your age. This was 1-3 years out of uni. Once you hit 25+ and you're settled in your career everyone around you is a boomer or past an age where they are single.
