You need to avoid the nocebo effect. You can do it in a very simple way.
I respect your choice of hoping on minox or fin. Some people choose hair over the potential risks of the two drugs. Others think preserving erections and not risking any collagen loss is better. Both are respectable. But if you've chosen taking any of the two, you need to trick your mind into thinking that you're not going to have any sides.

Nocebo effect is very real. All the side effects of finasteride have been proven, but the real frequency is unknown. But I assure you reading horror stories about PFS and ED are only going to make it worse and more likely to happen to you. Minox aging your skin hasn't been proven at all. I wouldn't be surprised that it all started with someone confusing natural aging with sides, started spreading fear online and then forming a nocebo chain reaction.
So here's what you need to do. Look up studies and anectodical evidence of fin and minox both working for hair and not giving sides at the same time. Phrases like "finasteride saved my hair. I still get erections with no problem". "I regrew all my hair back thanks to minox, I haven't noticed any skin aging or dryness". Write a few of these phrases down on a piece of paper, your phone, or wherever, and read them every morning and every night. Avoid anything telling you how fin can fuck your life up or how minoxidil causes dark circles. I don't even care if it's true or not, the point is tricking your mind to believe they're fine.

The nocebo effect of drugs
While the placebo effect has been studied for a long time, much less is known about its negative counterpart, named the nocebo effect. However, it may be of particular importance because of its impact on the treatment outcomes and public health. We conducted ...
