Igf-1 question

Is there any reason to legitimately not be on igf-1 for bone growth in the face? Like a good reason, from what I can tell it shouldn't stunt growth though it can accelerate it. I don't need a retarded joke reply.

Acromegaly risks, organ growth, water retention, etc. It's not that bad compared to other peds.
