IGF1 is the primary growth factor for adolescence and is the primary hormone responsible for skeletal growth during puberty. it’s produced in the liver and is a byproduct of hgh and insulin, but significantly more anabolic.
most igf1 (apprx 99%) is not readily available, thus won’t be anabolic, due to IGF binding proteins (IGFBP’s) that essentially regulate receptor sensitivity, IGF’s half life aswell as what cells receive IGF1. therefore increasing IGF1 levels naturally theoretically won’t do much as most of it will not be bioavailabe. this is where LR3 comes in, it not only has a much longer half life than regular igf, but contains a modified amino acid profile: 13 amino acids longer which helps reduce its affinity to bind to IGFBP’s and, more importantly, an arginine substitution in the 3rd position of the AA sequence, which massively reduces it binding to IGFBP’s. all in all this means MUCH higher “active” and circulating IGF in the blood, meaning it can actually bind to cells and produce anabolic effects.
**”muh is cope js take HGH”**
yes, obviously HGH will most likely produce more bone growth due to it also stimulating the production of other growth factors in the breakdown to becoming IGF, which allows seperate pathways to be activated than taking just the byproduct. BUT unless u can find a cheap and reliable BM source, it is FUCKING EXPENSIVE, JFL, none of the ngas on this site can afford pharma grade, or even grey market products. Furthermore, whilst HGH is probably better for bone growth, it does not compare in muscle growth, HGH’s differentiates itself due to hyperplasia (the replication of muscle cells), as opposed to sarms typical hypertrophy, but this is not due to HGH, it’s due to its indirect conversion into IGF1, therefore, LR3 gives you the unique ability to effectively duplicate muscle cells, not only leading to bigger muscles whilst on cycle, but also the ability to hypertrophy the new cells meaning much faster gains and anecdotally, “a second newbie gains phase”. LR3 also promotes glucose and nutrient uptake into muscles, making processes like recovery far easier (aswell as crazy var-like pumps), aswell as activating satellite stem cells which will promote further bone and muscle growth
people saying it doesn’t promote bone growth are fucking retards, higher IGF, especially active IGF levels, will result in bone growth, NO MATTER WHAT PATHWAY IT USES!! just be careful bc you might come out looking like the great khali if you take too much.
recommended dose is anyway 20-100mcg every 36 hours or so, i personally would take it pre or post workout but js do whatever it doesn’t matter. sides are hypoglycaemia, cancer duplication and organ growth but hey “anything for an ascension right”
