I swear when i was in quebec each semester we had a manifestation of teacher , in a way i can understand because they get 30 student and poor work conditions and shitty pays but every intern we got demissioned and some teachers said teacher after their 1 years have 70 % chance to change profession.

Many American teachers are disgruntled. They’re telling people to study something else if they’re majoring in Education. Many are leaving the profession as well. But IMO, it’s a problem specific to the US. Maybe I lucked out with my placement but for instance, they don’t allow cellphones in classrooms here but in the US they are allowed to have them. And I think that’s where most of the problems arise from.

East Asian countries only look for teachers from English-speaking countries but they will take Europeans as well if they’re from a different country. But a brown guy like me? Not even American or British or Canadian? Forget it. It’s lame they are like that because I actually want to delve into teaching and go in all sorts of directions. If I was American, I definitely would have gone down this road. Just to experiment.

I am certain they would hire you, usually they do look for teaching qualifications which i know you don't have but it's still possible. You'd probably be put in some small town or small city but work is available. Look into it more, i know a guy who didn't have qualifications and still went to China.

No worries, brotha! I’m not in North America anyway. I’m in the Netherlands. I believe the situation here is not comparable. I’ve been observing for over a month now and I can’t agree with many of the beliefs that American teachers have. Because the situation is just different.
