Writing screenplays is hard man. I can get ideas but putting them together and writing dialogue is hard.

I wanted to make a movie about an addictive and dangerous drug that gets banned by a beloved king in monarchal England. The resentful brother of the king, who was always power-hungry but never viewed highly by the people or the nobles starts a kingpin. He employs corrupt knights to keep manufacturing the drug and selling it in secret to the now addicted nation, as well as other dealers in nations who have banned the drug.

It would be cartoony and energetic, so not like a drama but a crime/action movie with comedic aspects. It's like a gangster movie set in old England. I will probably never have the money to produce it, but it would be dope to see knights slangin drugs for big money.

The main character is the son of a jester, whose wife was impregnated by the former king through rape. The king, therefore, allowed the boy to train and be educated alongside highly respected guardsman and knights, but never let word get out that he was the bastard son of the king and that was why. He becomes a high general and is the leader of a group that gets stationed in English occupied China while the drug is still ravishing England. The only real purpose of me putting him in China for a period is so that he can learn to fight like a ninja, a knight that sells drugs and knows martial arts lmao. On his way back he becomes addicted to the new drug since the men did the drug to pass time on the ocean, and he finds that upon his return he has lost his wife to the flu. That is when he spirals and becomes a drug dealer for the kings brother to afford his addiction and become a wealthy gangster.
