I watched a video and learned about what you shouldn't sell to a pawn shop.
Antique gun desk - this is a disguised firearm. How it works is you push something which causes it to fold and pull a lever, discharging a .22 short round. It is single shot. Reason: disguised firearms are illegal.
Tortoise shell guitar - these were made around the WWII era but were discontinued around the '70s because of the endangered nature of these animals. Kinda like if they catch you with a bald eagle feather, you're gonna have to pay a fine regardless if you thought it was something else. If you sell/buy these, you can get in some legal trouble (like house arrest + $20k fine).
Minox spy cameras - These WWII era military intelligence spy cameras are illegal mainly because no CIA agent or German equivalent of the CIA would ever sell these to anybody. Plus the one auctioned on Pawn Stars had somebody's name and SSN number scratched into it and the serial number filed off. This is also illegal to sell.
Penn State Orange Bowl Ring - this wasn't able to be sold on Pawn Stars because it's owner's name and identity number was scratched out.
Tyre Coin - this item is illegal because it was stolen from somebody.
