Not gonna write an essay. I was 17 and I got facial surgery illegally. I knew exactly what I was doing.

i was absolutely disgusted by the way I looked. I’d been looksmaxxing for years. Measurements, comparisons, feedback. If you’re honest, you know when something’s off. The only person I told was my best friend, he kept telling me to wait, some stupid grey advice. Bone doesn’t fix itself with time.
Afterwards wasn’t some movie glow-up. It sucked. Pain, paranoia, hiding it, checking mirrors 24/7. For a while I thought I might’ve ruined myself. But once it settled, the difference was obvious. And now everyone in my fucking school knows this, it’s hell. I even got expelled for this and now I’m just at home wishing things might’ve been different. I know eventually my parents will kick me out.
Even though I changed a lot, the pain, the insecurity is still there. I’m more unhappy than ever.

I had to miss a ton of classes I was not there for fucking half a year and when they asked for medical documents, I lied to cover it. Apparently that counts as “falsifying information on official records.”
im in college it’s optional.
