No unless it very noticeable as to fix a overbite they pull back the maxilla it might fix it half self on its own as you age . If you get braces when you older it has less of a effect on your face.

no, it is not necessarily. but if you get braces now you are compromising your future self ability to take a decision. your future self will have fully developed bones and brain, both of which will help you at taking the best decision. if you take the decision now you are conditioning your future decision.
