I’m 17 today and have zero friends

I’m turning 17 today and have nothing. I have 2 friends which I only met recently, both of them don’t know it’s my birthday. I havnt had a birthday party outside of family in 4 years. I havnt had a girlfriend in 6 years. I’m crying as I write this post. I just recently made those 2 friends. I havnt had any friends for almost 2 years. I never leave the house, I don’t go to any parties, I do nothing. I just feel sad.

I think you have the answer to cure this, get out of the house buy nice clothes make friends not online but in person through sports clubbing etc, and actually get your life together by started a business or a niche to get money, i started making thousands a month just at 15, nothing will come to you if you wait for it you have to go get it yourself man, i've had friends in the same spot as you and the only way out is by waking up and getting your shit together by trying really hard at something, hope this helps and happy birthday

While i agree with what you're saying, I believe the premise of these threads is to feel heard and have others relate and that's it. OP definitely knows what to do but things are easier said than done

I've only ever had gfs online but none irl, I lost all of my friends after I got expelled from my school 4 years ago. Afterwards things went downhill and transfered alot. I'm also not good at approaching so y'know what happened.

I’m not looking for sympathy, I just not sure what is the next move. I’m making money through my business, I was a late bloomer and finally grew, I go to the gym, I’m trying my hardest to improve my looks but nothing in life as felt like it changed.

Don't rush it.

This year, I got one friend who was saying he'd treat me properly but like he only came to me when he needed something. When I gave money, he never returned. Thing was he only ever approached when he wanted to borrow something from me, when I didn't went to classes for like few weeks I've never had any interaction with him.

I got kicked out my friend group a few years ago and I never even found out why it’s kind of stupid when people say every social aspect is based on looks, but it’s really truly based on status. If you don’t have status, then you won’t have social acceptance.

you gotta realize that if you have to try hard for friends in the first place then it’s not something you’re gonna actually enjoy
