The only reason I don't commit atrocities is because hell might exist. I'm not a Christian, but the idea of hell is so oppressive that it doesn't matter, I have to pretend to be good.

And the fact that other religions have similar ideas of the afterlife makes it possible.

Anything written in the good book about bad people who act good? Do they go to hell anyway? If so I'm done pretending.

Works is not a way to heaven for this very reason. A bad person pretending to act good through his actions is called being subversive which means you are a liar and a deceiver.

You must understand within yourself that being a bad person on the inside is what prevents you from being truly happy. You must figure out why you feel you are a bad person and what it is that might have caused it.

For a long time I was a very spiteful evil person at heart and the reason was because I couldn't cope with how stupid and evil everyone else was. It was an attempt at protecting myself on the inside but I realised I was only sending out the same negative signals as they were.

Most people are utterly hopeless and will burn in hell forever aka recycled on earth. To be angry or spiteful towards them because of this, is exactly what has turned a lot of people bad. It is self fulfilling.

My old friend died recently and I couldn't bring myself to cry or even really care. We hadn't hung out for a while but we were friends.
