I think we should reinstitute the three strikes law in the United States, increasing the penalties for minor offenses. This ensures that those that are predisposed to committing crimes, are put behind bars for good. We should also revoke the right to marry for violent offenders, given that we don't need their genetics in the gene pool.
To be fair, nobody chooses their genetics, but this is really the only solution to decreasing crime rates. We should however continue to make advances in gene editing, to ensure that the next generation of human beings aren't dysgenic.
