fair enough, but you have to understand that desires are DRIVES rather than PURPOSES. for example, being hungry doesn't mean that the purpose of life is eating. if fulfilling our desires was purpose, then addiction to them would probably make more sense that that's where enlightenment comes from. also, if desires were our purpose, our pleasure from fulfilling them would indefinitely increase right?
