I actually used Control Gx shampoo to make it brown.
Based on polls the majority of women prefer brown hair, but based on my experience there is a smaller percentage of white women, usually with darker coloring, who have a fetish for blonde guys. So on the one hand brown hair has more wide appeal but most guys have brown hair, but with blonde hair I'd be more rare and have a much larger appeal to the small percentage of women who prefer blonde guys.
