I'm almost 23 and the earliest i can afford jaw surgery is 25-26 is it over?

I am saving money but i need to still finish uni and military and by the time I'm gonna have the money I'm gonna be at least 25 years old should i give up on it?
My mindset is that i should just get it anyways because I'm gonna be 25 either with a jaw surgery or without but I'd just love to have it sooner
Getting girls is not a problem but getting jaw surgery would ascend me

It's okay, I am older than you and I will only get the surgery next year. Sure the earlier the better but as long as you're on the path, you're good. Don't think that much about it and feel depressed that it's still a long way to go, just keep grinding.


It's definitely not over in your 20s or your 30s or even 40s as long as you don't have some premature aging. There are people getting surgeries in their fucking 40s and 50s if you look on /r/jawsurgery lmao. As long as you still look young you are good, don't forget to softmaxx and keep your skin and body healthy.

The only thing certain is that you will regret if you don't get it when you will finally get this chance, so don't give up. You don't want to be like 50 years old thinking "fuaark I wish I got this surgery".

how deep is it? mine is very very slightly deep but i don't know if it actually is never gone to ortho to check, just guessing, why is it that bad? cause of recessed mandible?

I don’t have any numbers yet but when I bite down I have little teeth show and overall my lower third is very short and set back compared to the rest of my face

Out of pocket tbh. It’s a huge amount including orthodontics but hopefully it will be worth it. When I say recessed I mean both my chin and jaw are recessed to shit so I am expecting okayish ROI from this.

Just a trimax for now. I think it will be enough but you never know. I will need to “reassess” after it. It’s such a drastic surgery that it changes how the rest of your face looks.

Yeah i guess you're right the best time to plant a tree was 10 years ago the second best time is now so I AM gonna be getting the surgery i also do look younger than i am people have said that i look 19-20 years old and if it wasn't for my height im sure some would say i look 17 even
