Like the title suggests I quit my job and i'm in between jobs rn, I have 300 laying around to invest and I really really want this to make me a little bit of extra income by investing in something that's reliable and very likely to give increase. Insight and tips very very needed and appreciated. I only know surface level daytrading so I'm reasonably new to this.

If the top hedge funds on wall street make 15-30% ROI in a year, how do you expect to "make a little bit of extra income" with only $300? Sure you could do day trading and whatever, but that's glorified gambling.

you gotta do day trading, but once u get a little cash invest in like palantir, JetBlue stock, or nutrien

Save most of what you have and just flip stuff you can find for free/cheap on Facebook Marketplace. I'd recommend flipping textbooks since you can instantly get cash once you mail them to a company like Booksrun. Also buying vintage clothes and reselling on Depop is another good method.
