You can most definitely just do bjj and can most definitely take in more then one opponent on with just grappling. These guys think a bjj guy is going to play on the ground in a street fight playing guard or something when in reality what we do is take you to the ground and then bash your head in to the concrete. That's if we didn't already break your ribs on the impact
